Gelukkig nieuwjaar / Bonne année / Happy new year!

How did this happen - 2011 crept up on me so quickly, it's hard to believe we're already a few days in!!! I've been a little quiet on here over the last month as we've been here, there and everywhere - home now though and feeling like I could sleep for a week after a fantastic couple of weeks away. We kicked off the holiday season with the much anticipated arrival of friends from Australia and did a bit of local sightseeing in Holland & Germany followed by Christmas in the French Alps, a couple of days in Switzerland and of course - New Years in Paris (and I have to say - don't let this photo taken on NYE fool you - the fireworks off the Eiffel Tower were non-existent and this featured one was BYO...)! But anyway - more to come on our latest adventures...

2010 was a hectic yet awesome year - but I have a feeling 2011 is going to be EVEN better! Happy new year all :-)

  3. Hey Selina, happy new year to you too! I'm doing really well thanks - enjoying a break after the busy holiday period though. I can't believe how quickly this year is going by already - Christmas seems like ages ago now. Hope you're doing well :-)

Tia, your poffertjes looked delicious! I saw Dan's photo - yummm, it has inspired me to dust off our poffertje pan. I'm really enjoying some down time, only got a few weeks to organise myself before the move down south eeek! I'm enjoying getting back into the knitting & sewing again in the meantime anyway. I talked to Mum this morning - sounds like you're ready for Jnr to arrive, we are anxiously waiting to hear the good news from over here! Love a very excited aunty-to-be-again xo
