40/52

"A picture of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013"

Oliver: This kid has been challenging lately - there have been more tearful, difficult moments than sweet ones. Yesterday my weary Mummy heart got just the lift I was needing. After napping less than an hour, Oliver was wide awake and whining. I brought him into our bed, we got under the doona together and just stared at each other. Sweetly. No hair pulling, face scratching, hitting. Just me and my boy, peaceful. Within minutes he was fast asleep - legos in hand. It's moments like these that I need to draw on when needing a quick pick me up in the midst of a hard day.

  1. sweet boy! love that he still has his legos clutched in his little hand... Judah always has to take a car or truck to bed with him like that!

  4. I love the little dimples on his hand; so grown up and still so baby at the same time :)
