Trick or treat?

As fun as the Halloween party, trunk or treat and finally - trick or treating was, I'm glad to be moving on. My house was chockablock with chocolate and lollies - aka candy - for a couple of weeks and believe me, I do not need that kind of temptation!

Last Thursday marked the final celebrations and along with a few friends, we joined in the trick or treat fun in our neighbourhood.

We didn't live in this neighbourhood last year so this was a first - and boy, it didn't disappoint. It was super busy - but with all the costumed families, welcoming neighbours handing out treats and even a cute block party (with a band and games lined up along the street for the kiddos, with prizes), it made for a fun Halloween!

Bring on the next festivities though - I'm ready for Thanksgiving and (an Aussie) Christmas!!!

  3. I agree, so fun but I'm ready to move on! Ready to hide the remainder of the candy (or somehow throw it away?!) and prepare for Thanksgiving!

  4. Looks like it was lots of fun but, I'm with you, Halloween candy brings too much temptation. ;-)
