Project 52: 2013 recap

Last year I participated in the 52 Project, hosted by Che & Fidel (now Practising Simplicity). This project definitely gave me more confidence in using our camera, particularly in learning manual mode. Although, I must admit my motivation was high at the beginning of the year and seriously lacking towards the end. Somehow, I did manage to complete the project with only a week forgotten and a few shots taken by the husband. I'm undecided on whether or not to take part again this year, but I have to say - looking back through this compilation was very rewarding. Watching the change not only in seasons, but also in Mr Oliver made me realise just how much this boy has grown over the past year. 2013 began with this little guy having barely any hair, few words, still in nappies - a baby beginning the transition into toddlerhood, and ended with a rough & tough little boy, full of chatter & personality. My crazy kiddo, who has grown in leaps and bounds and who we love so dearly.

A year of Oliver John...

  1. beautiful pictures from Australia!! I know it's not easy taking a little one across the world, especially while pregnant, so WELL DONE! I'm sure it was a very special Christmas. I started the 52 Project again this year, although I don't have that excitement I did last year. I'm thinking it will kick in soon. Hope you join too. ;)
