New York: Central Park (and other random, touristy sights)

Our trip to New York was so brief, we really only had time to cover the key touristy sights. I'm pretty proud of how well our boys traveled - they handled huge days out and about, Austin in the stroller and Ollie standing up riding on the buggyboard or walking. Every meal out and about, late nights. Having good little travelers meant we were able to whip through a lot of key sights...

... Central Park - even in the pouring rain, it was a spectacular sight seeing this huge park in such a crazily built up city. It really is impressive, although I was SUPER disappointed the ice skating rink was closed.

... Museum of Natural History. This place is AMAZING. Truly. You could spend days here. Our little dinosaur lover was in heaven!

... The 9/11 memorial & the One World Trade Center.

... Battery Park & our first sightings of the Statue of Liberty.

... Brooklyn Bridge & the view of the Manhattan skyline.

... The New York Public Library. By far my favourite building!

  2. How fun! I want to visit NY so bad. I've never been but we might have to plan a trip in the next few years!

  3. I really admire you for taking a trip like that with two young kiddos! I am way too attached to making sure we keep a schedule (even two days off schedule make my oldest a complete wreck), but I am a traveller at heart and would love to show my kids more of the world when they are a bit older. So great that you had a wonderful trip, in spite of a few hiccups here and there!
